I launched The Interior Edit to help clients navigate times of transition; whether you’re establishing a new home solo or with a partner, tackling a big move, grieving the loss of a loved one, going through a divorce, blending families together under one roof, making space for baby, or just ready for a “new you,” a well-organized and thoughtfully-designed home is the foundation of your next chapter.
After nannying for a family of seven for several years, I moved to Washington, D.C. in 2011, assisted a few small, women-owned businesses, and then entered the nonprofit education field. Across a myriad of professional experiences, the common denominator was simple: no matter my role, I had a knack for spotting inefficient procedures and figuring out how to streamline them. I truly enjoyed finding ways to boost the joy and productivity of those around me, all of which brought me here: creating functional, meaningful spaces that allow my clients to focus their time and energy on what matters most.
OUR DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
At The Interior Edit, we believe a well designed home means more space, time, and money for the life you really want. It’s no secret that living in a calm, well-organized home leads to a happier and less stressful way of life. With an eye towards organization, we design beautiful spaces that resonate with our clients and enhance their quality of life, so they can focus their energy on being present—at work and at home—and move through life with greater ease.
We are inspired by an ethos of using what you have (as long as you love it!) and buying fewer, but ultimately better, pieces: those hard-working, unique ones that combine form and function and give your home a sense of effortless style.
If you are looking to take a thoughtful approach to living and cultivate a home that allows you to invest more time and energy into the relationships and experiences that matter most, we’re here for you.
